Rafting float trip on the Colorado River.
Our Chariot of Fire tour is the most extensive helicopter tour below the Rim of
the Grand Canyon including views of Lake Mead and Hoover Dam. Feel the awe and
exhilaration previously shared only by great birds of flight as you will be one
of the privileged few who will actually descend into the mysterious depths of
the Grand Canyon. As you descend below the rim, you’ll pass through millions of
years of geological time. The Grand Canyon, its majestic size, brilliant palette
of colors and rugged beauty will remain stamped in one’s memory for a lifetime.
After leaving the Grand Canyon other natural wonders unfold including panoramic
views of Iceberg Canyon, the Valley of Fire and the Bowl of Fire.
Either before or after your flight (depending on season), you will raft through
the spectacular Black Canyon and gaze in awe at the mighty Hoover Dam. While
floating through the canyon you will be told many stories about the wildlife and
history of the area. Included also is a stop at a secluded cove for a picnic and
refreshments. |
