Your narrated flight departs from McCarran Int’l Airport next to the Resort Hotels. Beyond the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead the Grand Canyon awaits. All your senses will be heightened with all round views and choreographed music as you descend into the largest theatre in the world — The Grand Canyon. As you fly farther and deeper you enter the heart of the canyon and enjoy breathtaking views of the Colorado River, mile-high canyon walls and towering stone spires. Soar as if on a magic carpet below spectacular rock formations such as Eagle Rock, and Guano Point. You will be shown the canyon’s hidden secrets such as the site where mutineers on General Wesley Powell’s expedition were killed by Indians.
Your helicopter will explore the grandeur of the Grand Canyon, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Onboard a "Pegasus" luxury jet helicopter, you will fly 1,500 feet below the rim, soaring past towering, stone buttresses and columns bathed in an ever-changing kaleidoscope of colors. As you descend, you'll pass through millions of years of geological time.
Next, you land at the 165 square mile Grand Canyon Ranch. You are welcomed with a champagne toast at our own private helipad. In a covered wagon, you drive away through a Joshua Tree forest where you hear stories about the Cohina Indians, The Last Indian Ghost Dance and the notorious Gun Fighter Tap Duncan.
